Since 1962
Duty Brand started as a small family business from homes preparing and supplying local fresh fruit. The business then started pickling the fruit to extend it’s shelf life. The next major change was to dehydrate the fresh fruit. This maintained the longer shelf life while locking in the natural flavours and nutritional values and enabled customers to enjoy anywhere. The packaging could also be simplified, made cheaper and environmentally friendlier. The process also enabled fresh juice to be packaged and sold in Bangkok.
In 1995 the business was invited to sell it’s dried fruit products in a souvenir shop which aims to sell to tourists from Japan, Taiwan, Korea and China. Initially the products were not well known but over time gained popularity once customers, including local Thai’s, understood the nutritional value and taste. This resulted in an increased demand for our products.
Duty Brand has now become well known as a brand that you can buy with confidence, with our 20 years experience, supplying products with high quality to an international standard. Customers like the natural flavours and are more aware of the nutritional values that help promote their health and wellbeing.
